My Daily Blessing from My Daily Bible Reading

Genesis 42:23 -- Genesis 45:1

THE HELPLESSNESS OF FAILURE

GENESIS 42:28,36

"What is this that God hath done unto us"

Often, because of our own misdeeds and failures, we human beings blame God for our troubles. It is hard for us to admit the failures that have come into our lives. Often these failures are a result of our own foolishness and lack of discernment. OFTEN WE RUSH AHEAD WITHOUT LEANING ON GODLY WISDOM! We want our own way! We want our own things! We want our own wisdom! We tend to reject spiritual leadership from our Heavenly Shepherd.

Catastrophes, unwise friendships, and unhealthy situations often come into our lives because we fail to keep close to Jesus. Then we cry out, "All these things are against me." (ysw)

"IN HER TONGUE IS THE LAW OF KINDNESS"

(Proverbs 31:26)

Let this "law" govern my way in my life before the family and others. Let it control my speaking, and let me grieve when I break this Heavenly law. (GGS)

And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.  And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son.  (Genesis 18:10)
